Story
When the Colonial Marines set out after their deadliest prey, the Xenomorphs, it's what Corporal Hicks calls a bug hunt - kill or be killed. Here are fifteen all-new stories of such "close encounters", written by many of today's most extraordinary authors. Set during the events of all four Alien films, sending the Marines to alien worlds, to derelict space settlements, and into the nests of the universe's most dangerous monsters, these adventures are guaranteed to send the blood racing - one way or another.

Not a bad book.
If you could sum up Alien vs. Predator: Armageddon in three words, what would they be?
Fast, furious and entertaining.
What did you like best about this story?
It was all quite good, seeing how the aliens, humans and predators fit into this story.
Which character – as performed by John Chancer – was your favourite?
I can not pin down one character, he was very good and I could not wait for the next chapter to start.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
If you loved the book, you will kill for the movie.
Any additional comments?
Look if you like aliens and predators then you should like this book - just read or listen to books one and two first.

a great end for a very thrilling series
Most of the story was awesome. I found one fault with the story. On Karen station when the Xenomorphs exploded in space their blood should have froze and floated away versus splashing on the hull of Karen station and eating its way through. Everything freezes in space especially liquids. And everything floats especially liquids. Other than that a great story.

A misleading title, it's not what you would think
it was an okay story but I was expecting something else. there's not so much Alien versus Predator as it is human versus alien with a little Predator help. I think it was titled this way so it can sell more copies and that's just insulting.

Very Entertaining, action dense
There is a lot of action in this. And if you're craving anything from this franchise then you won't be too disappointed. There were a few new things I liked such as the descriptions of a few new alien world beings and life forms.
Loved most of the characters and hated one appropriately.
I only wish a few things:
1) he had been a little more imaginative with the story and that it didn't hold so many things in common with Mass Effect.
2) Wish he had come up with more elaborate language for the technology and sought a scientific adviser for new terms. That would have raised the level of this sci-fi to Classic level. The repetition of all the acid splashes got a little old. Like, 'yeah, ok, we are the lowest forms of advanced sentient space-faring beings and we burn easy. Got it.' But really, he kind of took one idea and beat it to death in present day language with only one or two new phrases.
Generally, his is a good placeholder for my insatiable appetite for space opera. But, he could take some notes from descriptive authors in the genre.
3)The narrator could be heard swallowing a few times. It's not enough to make those of us with sensitivity to mouth noises throw away the whole experience, but really, if he does that with other books I'd rather read the print.

the extended universe is still Canon to me
when you look at the recent works of Ridley Scott's and whoever else is thrown in their two cents you realize how far they have deviated from the science fiction and Space Opera of the original trilogy and subsequent expanded universe established by Dark Horse Comics and the writers of the 80s 90s and early 2000s. this story is the last book in a satisfying trilogy. an aerator has done a great job and the writer I feel is sitting upon Solid ground with his continuity. while the story arcs and overall coincidence provided within the storyline to wrap up the neat little package it's still quite an interesting read. well it's superficially skims the psyche of megalomania and the corruption of intention on the part of the antagonist in the story some of the mutual protagonists storylines feel disjointed or possibly even shoehorned in. also the method of emphasis on the aliens being little more than just tools effectively defangs them. in addition the fact that they add in predators to the mix makes the whole thing kind of feel like the same sort of story could have been written with Killer Robots instead of the Xenomorphs and had the same effect. as an audiobook it was entertaining but when reflecting on the contents and overall construction you realize that a lot of the story is a cookie-cutter Space Opera with the franchise painted over a lot of basic tropes. in the very end it lacks what the newest audio dramas from the same franchise Lack which is the body horror and frightening Cosmic horror even though they did try to incorporate some sort of space god that modifies and improves technology I think that the storytellers did not understand the insipid nature of incorporating Horror in action thriller writing.

Very Good Finale
This delivers in just the way you need a final book of the series to deliver. Lots of action, lots of battles, a fitting conclusion and suitable endings for the main characters. I struggled at the start of this series with the role that the aliens were given but if you have enjoyed the previous two books then I think you'll be happy with the quality of the conclusion. There is nothing worse than getting through to the final book of the series and being let down. Luckily Lebbon and Chancer close this one off nicely.

Rage War - Book III "EPIC FINALE" !!!!
I NEVER do spoilers in my reviews !!!! So can,t go into too much detail.......BUT, suffice to say that this book is an EPIC FINALE, to the Rage War Trilogy !!! I feel also that the ending has definitely left the door open for follow-on books !?!
I am a HUGE Fan of Tim Lebbon, from these Alien storyline books, to his Star Wars books & if course his Own fantasy books (*like "The Fallen" !!) And I look eagerly forward to future books by him !!!
John Chancer is a FANTASTIC Narrator, & was possibly the best choice for this Trilogy, his voice changes for the different characters was excellent & really helps define each character in the book !! I will definitely look for more books that he has narrated in future purchases !!!!
This is NOT a stand-alone novel, the preceding books are a MUST in order to enjoy them all to Their fullest !!!
This Trilogy is also a MUST, for Fans of either the Alien storyline &or Predator storyline !!!! And I leave desperately hoping for more................

A good final book to this series, the war was won, kind of, and we were left hoping that mankind could better itself and learn from its past. ppffftt yeah like that'll ever happen.
