Read the book not the audio version

Unless you want to hear the absolute worst attempt at a British accent in history!

Excellent book made even better.

Airport is a classic. Times have changed since Airport was written but the story is still exciting and informative at the same time.
BJ Harrison did a fantastic job of narrating Arthur Hailey’s great story. Hailey and Harrison are a winning combination. Defiantly a great purchase.

Excellent read

The performer was one of the best. Really enjoyed his reading. Story was great... much more complex than the movie. This is one I’ll listen to again in a few months.

Excellent book hampered by a horrible narrator

The book and subsequent movie are two of my all-time favorites but the narrator of the book was horrible.
This was my first experience with BJ Harrison as a reader and I found him tedious and very monotonal. He sounded no more excited than if he were reading a takeaway menu.
Grover Gardner, RC Bray, or the renowned Scott Brick would have been better suited.

It's Arthur Hailey

i wasn't crazy about the narrator. The story was very 60-70's. Less great literature & more historical (now) fiction & view of what wethought flight would be. I wonder how many of those 707s are still flying around. The people wondering if boomers accomplished anything will be interested in the casual civil rights outrages. Not as dramatic as one expects but I bet it made a cool movie though. Some really unchanged issues.
