Wow!!!

OMG! THIS AUDIOBOOK!! Breeze, Kai, and Chase's story is complex, captivating, and unexpectedly twisted! The supporting characters are intriguing. Violet's diary is a great addition to the story. This is an absolutely well written and intricate story. You have to listen to it. Believe me, you won't regret it! Addison Barnes is an amazing narrator. She did an outstanding job with the narration. I HIGHLY recommend it! This is one of my favorite books of 2020. Looking forward to listen to more books written by CoraLee June and Carrie Gray.

The Final Epilogue 😏

AGGRO by CoraLee June & Carrie Gray

I really liked this angsty, forbidden, romance murder mystery. Being the Sherlockian girl that I am, I figured out the "whodunnit" part fairly early on but that didn't take away from beauty of this book. I loved that that we get to experience this emotional ride from 3 perspectives.- Breeze, Chase and Kai. Getting into the headspace of these poor grieving kids while they uncover the layers of Violet - their dead, very complicated and troubled friend/girlfriend/sister was a sad but intriguing journey. Along the way they learn truths about themselves and discover bonds and love.

But there is danger for all of them as Lex, Kai's brother looms as a dark and threatening presence in their lives. Constantly intimidating them and coercing them to do his bidding. He is a suspect in Violet's murder but he is also a constant threat to their lives.

I love that there are subtle hints throughout the book as to who killed violet. Pay attention peeps to all the things and you will know who did it and why. The final epilogue will have you reeling and wishing for more.

In the midst of all of this grief, danger and intrigue three kids are growing up, grieving and trying to figure out their place in the world. It is an emotional journey of self discovery for Breeze, Chase and Kai and one they navigate with each other.

The narration by Addison Barnes was wonderful. She managed to capture the nuisances of all of the male and female parts brilliantly.

I really enjoyed this book with its twist and turns. I would love to see it turn into a movie.

it would be better with two narrators.

I was with this audiobook sitting on my Audible for a while now, just waiting for the right mood... Well... Apparently it wanted to be my last book of the year.

A single narration usually isn't my first choice on audiobooks, but it was a good narration. A girl narrating all of the guys' POVs, trying to make a dude's voice, ain't my cup of tea.

About the story now...

Grieve.
That's the first word that comes to my mind when I think about this book.
So much grief, that at some point, I was wondering if it would have anything else in the story.

And then Secrets.
Order than grieve, the secrets took place in the story and everyone needs to know what happened to Violet.

That girl died, but she left behind so many crumbs and lies, that she was a vital character along the book.

I liked this book. I liked the plot, even when I didn't loved all the characters.
Kai was brody and kinda of really ordinary.
Chase was a manwhore with family issues.
Breeze was a crying sunshine.
But together they were really good.

I confess that all the affair part wasn't really a mystery for me, but I didn't saw that epilogue coming! Still can't say if I liked though.

But it was a good book.

Well... That's definitely a wrap on my 2020!

My goodness! Awesomely heartbreaking.

Wow!!! I'm just sitting here staring at nothing. That ending! That ending has me messed up, for real.

This book pulled every emotional string available. At one point I thought that maybe I could breathe again but man was I wrong. Bruhhh, idk what to do atm. I'm seriously stunned silent.

Wow.... that's all I have.

P.S. The audio is perfect! Addison Barnes became a new fav narrator of mine.

This story took me on a wild ride!

This story was full of surprises, twists and turns, and love borne out of tragedy. When Breeze’s best friend Violet is murdered, she has to turn to the two men in her life that are at odds with each other: Ki, Violet’s boyfriend and Chase, Violet’s brother. With conflicting feelings and impossible grief, Breeze has to learn about growing up fast and finds herself stronger than she realized she could be. I loved every thrilling moment of this story. This story will leave you guessing until the very end, every part of it an unexpected tale as the truth begins to unwind.

Loved this!

Coralee June and Carrie Gray is my newest favorite writing duo. Aggro is simply one of their best! Gripping and emotional you won’t know what hit you once you get engrossed in this story. It was definitely a page turner.

The writing was beautiful and it had all the humor that hit the right spot and also all the emotions that had me saying in my head *I hate you for this* 😂

I was hooked from the first page to the last and literally couldn’t read fast enough but also was sad that i finished it so fast!

Get ready for a twist you won’t see coming because that totally knocked my socks off!

This story was beautifully created and i loved how the writing made me feel like i was experiencing the characters emotions myself!

5 stars and i highly recommend this!

Suspense, Surprises and Angst!

Violet was the person that anchored Breeze, her best friend, Kai, her boyfriend, and Chase, her brother, together. After Violet’s death they are all reeling from the loss that shouldn’t have happened, are feeling powerless and believe that they must find out who is responsible not only for her but for themselves as well.

Breeze was content to let Violet’s effervescent personality take center stage but the need for answers will take her out of her comfort zone. As the story unfolds, we get to experience not only how the characters view themselves but also how they view each other which only enhances the depths of their relationships.

The characters are compelling, the storyline is captivating, and the surprises keep you guessing. I thought that the narrator did a great job of bringing the story to life.

Amazing story

Now this is the kind of listen I love. It's emotionally deep, dark and gritty. It made me feel, made me think, frustrated me and made me fall in love. But most importantly, it kept me on the edge with twists and turns I did not see coming. Breeze and Violet are best friends, until Violet turns up dead. Now Breeze, Violet's boyfriend Kai and twin brother Chase are on a mission to find out who the killer is. The intricacies of this story all lie with Breeze. She is kind of a wallflower, and loves from afar. Chase and Kai do not get along, but these two are the glue that is holding Breeze together. And their journey to the truth is brutal. Grief drives these three and what they find is not anything you expect. Get ready for a fantastic mystery, full of suspense and romance. It's going to take your breath away.

Addison Barnes narrates this story, and her voices are so perfect you would think it's a full cast. Each one with a specific personality that fits the character so well, you think they are real. I always love her narrations and this one really impressed me.

What an addictive listen

I’ve just started listening to audiobooks and although the first few I listened to took me a little while to get into, this was not the case with Aggro. The story pulled me right in early on and I couldn’t get enough of the suspense and all the theory’s I had in my head.

Breeze’s best friend has just been murdered leaving her to grieve with Chase, her best friends twin and Kai, the best friends boyfriend. After the brutality of the murder, they all want to find the killer, with suspicion everywhere. I had so many theories in how this would pan out and had my suspicions on everyone.

When the truth came out I loved how everything came together in the end for the three of them and how much stronger they were, moving on with their life creating an unbreakable bond.

Aggro has it all, there’s romantic suspense, love triangle, forbidden romance, new adult and is a read everyone will enjoy.

The story kept me on tenterhooks, there was hurt, betrayal, twists and turn everywhere and was such an addictive listen. I’m still gobsmacked with that epilogue though, I didn’t see that coming!
