The Nazis feted Chapman as a hero and awarded him the Iron Cross. In Britain, he was pardoned for his crimes, becoming the only wartime agent to be thus rewarded. Love this - my only criticism is that as an audio book, it's quite hard to hold on to the amazing amount of detail in this book. Really thorough research. And Eddy Chapman really was a lovable scoundrel.
