Patience prevails the of trials oppression.

The author engages with key issues in African American history providing insights into battles faced, struggles, loss and then suppression for many years to follow. Many shining lights can be found within these stories, the strength of Africa American people and how their quest for equality and diversity came about and continues today. An amazing read.
