Zur gleichen Zeit ereignen sich in Baden Baden seltsame Morde, bei denen allen Opfern Gewebe aus dem Gesicht entfernt wird. Die Polizei bittet das Amt für Aetherangelegenheiten um Mithilfe und bezieht schließlich auch Veränderte in die Ermittlungen ein.
