Plot not as good as first three books. The character of Lettuce is not realistic or useful as an addition and not explored.
Still a fun end to an engaging series.

The series is only OK compared to the author’s usual standard. Even so, this final volume is a let down. The Lettuce and Perry characters add a basically irrelevant sub plot that does nothing to help the story development, while the glitch in the relationship between the two main characters was clumsy and unconvincing. Overall the plot was thin with very little character development and far too much padding.
