Adele touches the hearts of millions of people who love her for her music and share the real and honest emotion she brings to each and every song. In Adele, best-selling biographer Sean Smith talks to those close to her as he follows her astonishing journey to fame that began on the gritty streets of Tottenham. "Fans will be engrossed by the highs and lows of the second highest-paid woman in pop (behind Taylor Swift), concluding with her enjoying life as a new mother to son." ( OK! Magazine)
The author does a lot of these celebrity bios and does a good job. I was interested to learn about how she got started and her family and so on and that’s all in there as well as details of her professional collaborations, the inspiration for her songs and so on. Very good.
I did want to know more, to get up to date, but there
Is nothing much after the release of 25 and Spectre.
No mention of her divorce from Simon, 30 or her Vegas residency, which is a bit of a shame.
Strangely, the final chapter is a 15 minute astrological reading. Weird. I skipped through that.
Good, but out of date now
