Not the best

I love Aly’s books but not this one. It started out well but didn’t continue. The story didn’t seem to go anywhere. I really didn’t like Rita’s character. She seemed to be very one dimensional and only focused on sponging off wealthy men, her main concerns were pedicures, facials, what dresses and shoes she will wear. Why can’t the lead female characters have more backbone and be confident independent women. I liked Tanner’s character he was too good for Rita. The narrators were excellent however they were really bad when trying to read in the opposite sex voice and sound silly. I have heard duets before and they are so much better. I hope the books about Charlotte and Porter are better than this one.
