Best-selling Author Tracie Peterson Launches Exciting New Series Set in 1890s Montana

Emily Carver wants a home where she can put down roots instead of following her gold-hungry father from one mining camp to another. She also longs for tenderness and love, both of which are missing in her life. Yet when she realizes she's losing her heart to the intriguing new man in camp, she fiercely fights her feelings, afraid that love will only result in disappointment and heartache.

Caeden Thibault, a young geologist, comes to Montana to catalog minerals indigenous to the state. He's a serious and guarded young man trying to escape the pain of his past. He has avoided all romantic entanglements, fearing he might become like his abusive father. But something about Emily Carver has caught his attention, something he never expected....

Will these two broken souls allow God to bring healing and hope to their hurting hearts?

This narrator not polished, her voice isn't ideal

Would you consider the audio edition of A Treasure Concealed to be better than the print version?

No, I was thinking I would have enjoyed it more had i read it.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Story was ok. But I couldn't get past the narrator. She never fell into the flow. It was almost like she was telling it to kids instead of adults.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I don't like all in one sitting, I like them to last. It was a simple and enjoyable story.

Undeveloped character and story line.

Honestly couldn't wait til it was over. Just wish I hadn't already purchased the next story in the series.

Intriguing story

Loved the story, plot line, twists, character development and overall message. Had a hard time listening to the narrator. The vocalization was odd. I love this author and her books. This is a super new series so I'm disappointed to find my next book in the series is also narrated by the same lady.

The Christian aspect.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Treasure Concealed?

When she was talking to the preacher, when her father was able to walk.

Any additional comments?

Narrator could have been better, but it didn't ruin the listen, you just have to pay closer attention to names.

I liked the story line and the spiritual lessons

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Melissa Hurst?

Sorry Melissa but I was not pleased with the narration. I will do my best to avoid books narrated by Melissa in the future. A speech impediment crossed my mind often while I tried to get beyond the obvious effort of the narrator to pronounce the words, which gave all the characters the same unnatural pronunciation.

Was A Treasure Concealed worth the listening time?

I liked the story line. I would have enjoyed it better from a different narrator.
