About this listen
"In the summer of 1991 I was a normal kid. I did normal things. I had friends and a mother who loved me. I was just like you. Until the day my life was stolen. For eighteen years I was a prisoner. I was an object for someone to use and abuse. For eighteen years I was not allowed to speak my own name. I became a mother and was forced to be a sister. For eighteen years I survived an impossible situation. On August 26, 2009, I took my name back. My name is Jaycee Lee Dugard. I dont think of myself as a victim. I survived. A Stolen Life is my story in my own words, in my own way, exactly as I remember it."

This is a book by Jaycee and as she says it does get a little muddled but you are listening to it through her mind and she has done an amazing job considering. I hope you find a little more peace each and every day.

I remember the time you were taken and all those years wondering what had happened to you.
Every so often there would be some publicity on the radio or newspapers of possible siting or speculation, but nothing came to fruition.
I'm so pleased you made it out alive and with 2 beautiful daughters ❤️
I can hear your frustration of being stuck and helplessness, just wanting to live your life as a normal adult.
It takes time to adjust but always take it at your own pace.
Love to you and your family xx
