Story
With a name like Quinn Calahan, I sounded as Irish as a leprechaun dancing a jig on a four leafed clover, but the truth was, I’d never been closer to the emerald isle than drinking green beer at the St Patrick’s day street party in Boston until I messed up so badly I had to leave the US. I was offered a job in a tiny village in Ireland that no one’s ever heard of. And I think that was the point in sending me there.

Story
I can remember a time when I baked for fun. I loved dreaming up new recipes, trying different combinations of flavors. Sharing my creations with friends and family. Now? I have nightmares where the TV cameras are on me and I’m baking naked. Or I open my oven and my cake pans are empty. You don’t need to be Freud to figure out I’m freaking out. This week on The Great British Baking Contest could be my last. I am one bad bake away from being waved good-bye.

Another Great Book
Quinn is hosting a book launch for one of the vampires, Bartholomew Branson. The next day a body is found and Quinn must find the killer. I look forward to listening to this series. It always makes me laugh and a light cozy mystery, a great way to unwind and relax. Quinn is such a likable charcter and her cat familiar, carawyn, is great. i kind if wish that Quinn and Lochlan could get together. I hope there will be a 4th book.
I recommend this whole series.

Witchy goodness!!!!
A Spelling Mistake (Vampire Book Club # 3) by Nancy Warren
Publisher: Ambleside Publishing
Release Date: November 6, 2020
A Spelling Mistake is the third book in the Vampire Book Club series by Nancy Warren. This series is so good! It is definitely a must-read!
Unlike a lot of cozy mysteries I've read, the main character in this story, Quinn, is middle-aged, instead of in her 20s and 30s. I found that to be so refreshing. Quinn is wiser (and doesn't lose her mind over the hot vampire) and more mature than most lead characters and I loved it! I felt so much closer to Quinn and could relate to how she acted in so many situations.
The storyline was incredible and trying to solve the mystery was so much fun! I love how Nancy Warren brings together witches, vampires and a book club (all of my favorite things)! This book was funny, quick to read, and a great break from reality! I can't wait to read ALL of the future books to come!
The narration by Hollis McCarthy is incredible! She really brings the story to life!
I'm so grateful to the author for providing me with a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for my honest review.

Book 3 is a HIT 5/5
Nancy Warren's books are a must read/listen and then you might want to listen again. I especially like Vampire Book Club, and how it links from time to time with her Vampire Knitting Club series. It is Witches, and Vampires and Murders----OH MY!
"A Spelling Mistake", takes you on another unexpected murder, and then the fun starts. No Spoilers from me---But you will not be disappointed following the breadcrumbs to solve this mystery.
Characters are developed and real to the reader. Settings are colorful and written to be visually captivating and make it easy to picture the actions of the story play out. Excellent work. And finally the story and plot are each new and pull you into the story to solve the mystery alongside Quinn Callahan in the charming village of Ballydehag,
Hollis McCarthy, narrator, has done herself proud in each book----thank you.

Vampires, witches and murder of course!
What happens when a newly turned cranky vampire has a book released posthumously? Why throw him a book launch so he can secretly enjoy the release of course! What could possibly go wrong?? Humor abounds once again as Quinn wrangles vampires, witches and tries to keep all hidden from the normal folk around her wee Irish town which becomes harder to do when you invite a slew of people to town for a book launch of an undead author who is not at all pleased with his undead status nor of the events the unfold during his book celebration! Once again, Quinn finds herself entangled in murder, mayhem and more with a side of books! If you haven't started this series yet, you are definitely missing out! You absolutely will love having the books come to life for you with the stellar narration in this series!
