 When Natalie's boyfriend Michael tells her that he "needs space", she's devastated. Natalie's friends drag her off speed-dating, but she's still yearning for Michael. Wouldn't recommend

With all the tropes of classic escapism (a genre I frankly adore) this novel couldn't seem to follow it up with any depth or warmth. It isn't awful but I'd look elsewhere.
