About this listen

One day a man arrives in town. Unassuming. Quiet.

The assassin known as Victor is hiding out in a small motel in Canada after a job across the border. A few days laying low and he'll be gone leaving no trace behind.

He doesn't count on getting to know a mother and her boy who reminds him of his own troubled childhood. When both vanish, only Victor seems to notice.

Once he starts looking for them, he finds himself at odds with the criminals who own the town. They want him gone. Only Victor's going nowhere until he discovers the truth and to them he's just a quiet man asking the wrong questions.

But that quiet man is a dangerous man.

More like a Jack Reacher book than a Victor, but still entertaining as I like Reacher, but marked it down a I was expecting normal Victor book!

Victor the Assassin becomes Jack Reacher

No one believes him so they pay the price as only Victor can do. No mercy.

A soft side of Victor.

"A quiet man" continues to show how good Tom Wood really is. Another super read in the Victor series!!

Victor is the best!

After so many Victor stories the narrator has been changed. The new narrator is not The Victor I enjoy. The story line is weak and almost silly until Chapter 70 onward and the ending left me disappointed.

Disappointing
