Enjoyable historical mystery

I liked the story - the history of Napoleon’s bid for world domination. The characters in the fiction were of interest and the murder mysteries entertaining. The narrator was at times very grating. She mispronounced some words like - facts became farcts, in truth all words that had an a in them ended up with an elongated at sound.
