Publisher's Summary

The story takes place in the Omegaverse. This is book five in Hobson Hills Omegas series.

Abel Lawson is haunted by the memory of an alpha who was just supposed to be a one-night stand. He can't seem to get Mateo out of his head, even with a busy and full life to distract him.

When he discovers he is pregnant, Abel realizes he wants the whole package. He wants the baby, the husband, and the white picket fence. There is still the little problem of the several thousand miles separating him from the man he wants.

Mateo Medina isn't one to let a good thing pass him by. He knows he found the omega of his dreams, and he's determined to find him. Luckily for him, fate is on his side.

When his best friend calls him and offers him a job in the very pub Abel owns, Mateo knows he is destined to be with the omega who stole his heart. He takes a chance and moves his small family to Maine.

Together, Abel and Mateo build a family and a bond that will see them through everything - fear of heartbreak, protective parents, pushy grandmothers, angry siblings, and dangerous trouble.

Author's note: This is a m/m, nonshifter, mpreg, insta-love story with no angst and no cheating, just a HEA. There are a few potty mouths, so beware. 18+ listeners only, please. It is the fifth book in the series that is more enjoyable if listened to in order.

And There He Is Now

A chance encounter, family interruption, time and distance all get in the way of a new romance. But this is Hobson Hills so things will turn out right. I love each couple's story and this one is no exception. And the whole family is always entertaining.

Fantastic

When you need a sweet loving story this is one of them. This whole series is. They’re good feel stories that makes you want to go to this town and meet all the families. Be a part of them. I had already read them but it’s great to hear it on audible. C.W.Gray writes from the heart and they always have lots of family, friends and many animals. Love it!

A Little More Rough

Poor Abel and Mateo go through it in this one, but it's still sweet, and family oriented. The Wilson clan are the perfect family.

Kenneth Obi did an excellent job, the narration was perfect.

I love this series!

I'm a huge fan of A/O/B stories. I'm a sucker for MPreg too. These stories are filled with lovable characters and interesting story lines.

This is my favorite in the series, and Mateo/Able is my favorite pairing so far.

As for the narrator, Kenneth Obi has been the best in the series. The Wilson family come from Maine, and Kenneth has been the only one to read them with a New England accent.

this series gets a 10/10 from me, and Kenneth Obi is off the charts as far as I'm concerned!

A Wonderful Story

This is the fifth book in The Hobson Hills Omegas Series. I would suggest reading/listening to the previous books in the series for the fullest enjoyment of this book. A wonderful story with good writing. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters likeable. The characters were developed and thought out. Abel an Omega and Mateo an Alpha are the MC’s of this book. The narration was good, and I can recommend this book as a good read/listen. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

A new-to-me narrator and a warm-hearted story

I didn't think I'd like this story when I first started it, but I'm glad I persevered. It turned out to be quite enjoyable. Between the two MCs, both quite cute, apart and together, and their respective support systems, including a veritable menagerie of pets, I was kept entertained quite well throughout. The quintessential representation of small-town USA is heartwarming in this story, and not even the tension inherent in the mystery breaks down that sweetness. The solution to the mystery is satisfying, if sad, and the HEA happily achieved by the last few paragraphs. The narrator is new to me, and his performance was acceptable to me. I was able to recognize some differences between characters and appreciated his efforts to enact the emotions, such as chuckles and sighs, that were part of the text.

Good listen

Enjoyed this new novel in the Hobson Hills Omega series by CW Gray. It was a cute, low angsty book that was quite a fun listen! I have not read all of the previous novels in this series so I missed some of the nuances of the secondary characters but it stood alone pretty well. Nice narration job from Kenneth Obi.

Abel & Mateo

A cute and fun story with low angst and a few twists to keep you hooked all the way through. Abel and Mateo are great together and I really like how well they blend together. They did run into some danger and have a mystery in their hands with an unexpected villain. I like how everything worked out to get them their HEA. The narrator did an okay job with the story and the characters. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audiobook.

Beer, buddies, brothers and babies

Kenneth Obi is one of my favourite narrators, so I jumped at this audiobook, even though I hadn't heard any of the others in the series and it could actually stand alone, but I did feel the need to go back and read/listen to the others (voiced by different narrators) and get to know the other characters in this world after getting to know them a little in support of Abel and Mateo during this story set partly in a beach bar when Abel is on vacation and then in Hobson Hills at Abel's bar and brewery. I love MPreg and highly recommend this Omegaverse series.

Instalove, found family

I absolutely loved everything about this.
Sweet, fluffy quick story.
Abel and Matteo were absolutely perfect for each other.
A disturbing family secret is exposed and adds mystery, danger and intriguing fast paced action.
I loved the kids, they were adorable.
Kenneth Obi has done a great job of realistically bringing these characters to life.

Short and sweet...

I haven't read any of the previous books in the Hobson Hills Omegas series, but I didn't feel lost at any point.

Abel and Mateo were very well suited for one another and I loved how good they were with Mateo's son and his little sister. I also really liked Abel's friends and family, they were all so supportive of Abel and Mateo when they needed them and it was heartwarming.

This book had everything I've come to rely on when reading this type of book, the sweetness, the instalove and the sense of family and community. Plus, a bit of a mystery that made the story a bit more action-packed than I expected, not that that's a bad thing. The story moved along at a fast-pace and there was some violence and low-angst, but overall, I found it enjoyable.

My favorite part was Kenneth Obi's narration. It was so entertaining to listen to him bringing all the characters to life and he always gives a quality performance.

Perfect pint

Abel and Mateo are so hot and adorable together. With the addition of the Wilson family and all their friends, these two have a hilarious and emotional road to their HEA. From starting with what was supposed to just be a one night stand to HEA, these two have to figure out what will make each happy and how to start their life together.

Kenneth Obi continues to prove why I enjoy his narration so much by bringing each and every character to life with unique voices and traits.

as great as the ebook

The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook. I can't listen to an audiobook without knowing the book, that's not possible for me.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Kenneth Obi is one of the top 5 narrators (so far) for me, I can listen without break and have no problems to follow. I'm just not yet finish with the book, just over the half, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B
