My first foray in the genre - only Chelsea Fagan could get me to do this! I loved everything about it and am now stalking the author’s recommendations for others. Chelsea wrote and performed this. It’s impeccable, carried me away to France, provoked all sorts of feelings. Pure escapism. Loved it all the way through. Can’t wait to see what she does next.

The recording of this audiobook is so amazing. I love the small sound details and how each of the characters are presented. Chelsea has spoken of her love of flawed female main characters and Lea fits into this category. I really enjoyed this story and loved how the scenes and people were described. For me, sometimes the pacing of the plot was a bit off but overall I thoroughly enjoyed this read.
