About this listen

The #1 New York Times bestselling creator of the irresistible Bridgerton family, Quinn offers historical romance fans new delights with A Night Like This—the second book (following the phenomenal Just Like Heaven) to feature the affairs, romantic and melodic, of the endearing, if painfully untalented, Smythe-Smith musicians. On A Night Like This in Regency England, anything can happen, especially when a beautiful pianist sitting in at the annual Smythe-Smith musicale catches the eye of a haunted, hunted man in desperate need of redemption. There is simply no author in the realm of historical romance fiction hotter than the remarkable Julia Quinn—and anyone who has ever been swept away by the love stories of Amanda Quick, Lisa Kleypas, or Jill Barnett will cherish A Night Like This.

Another wonderfully romantic tale by Miss Julia, and delightfully narrated by Miss Rosalyn. A lovely listen as expected, thanks.

Good story, brought to life once again by Rosalyn Landor. I will always purchase a book based on it being expertly narrated by this talented lady as I have not found her to have ever read a story that was less than excellent. I have found that it is recommendation enough to ensure a great story.

This story is really similar to Benedict’s with a noble born man and a woman in a servant role. But I liked this one far better, their relationship is much more equal, and Daniel makes efforts to understand her position and concerns. I do find I am enjoying this mini series much more than the original Bridgerton books - the Smythe-Smiths are wonderful.

Way better than Benedict
