Publisher's Summary

I’ve watched him from afar for years. And he has no idea. I take joy in that.

Through my observations, I’ve learned what makes this charming villain tick.
Whisky.
Power.
Beautiful women.
And Sex. Lots of it.

Sometimes you must get into bed with the enemy for the greater good. And that’s what I’ll do; it’s all part of making Sinclair Breckenridge fall in love with me so I can penetrate his inner circle.

There’s hell to pay.
I’m a dark horse. The perfect storm.
I am Bleu MacAllister. And I’m coming for him.

My kind of "Sin"

Any additional comments?

Suspense and passion all wound together for Bleu and Sin. Bleu, a strong heroine, is on a mission to avenger her mothers death but finds herself in the middle of the "fellowship", Scottish mob. Will Sin's love for Bleu be enough to keep these two together... Can he keep her safe now.... Can't wait to listen to the next book to see where the story takes me now.

Narration - It was ok but i had a very hard time when Antony tried to be the voice of Bleu. Had me irritated at first but i got over since the story was a good one.

Mafia romance. 1POV. Cliffhanger. Book 1 in series

This is a “sexy” Scottish mafia romance. It has a strong heroine-and she’s awesome. It’s a bit on an emotional listen. An FBI agent falls in love with the son of the man she is trying to kill.

Narration is great! Love the accent.
There is a cliffhanger but luckily the book is out so be prepared to listen ASAP.

Hot and Exciting

Loved this story! Can't wait to start book 2! David's women's southern accent sounded like Kermit the Frog. Other than that the narration was awesome!

Intriguing Storyline

I really enjoyed this story, although I wish it was a little more steamy. The storyline is very interesting and I am curious to see what happens next. I didn't use a credit on this book because it was apart of the Escape Package. The narratoriation is good, but David's female voice is not great.

Narratives

I bought this book when it first came out and it is a great story im a big repeat reader but when i bought it and listen to it the male voice was wonderful and charismatic but this new voice is awful and now i dont even want to listen to the book. I wish i could get a refund. Bring back the old narrator please!

Character voices weren't good

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Anthony's Scottish accent is good when he is playing Sinclair's character, but is awful when performing Blue's part. I almost stopped listening to it just because of his female character voice. I would definitely not allow him to a female voice again. Blue did not have a heavy southern accent but did when he read the part, it was just awful!

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The performance of the character's was read on the slow slide and it was annoying. It didn't flow a at good pace.

Could you see A Necessary Sin being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

No

Eh...

This made me sad. I listened because the story idea was okay. Like other listeners have commented... the ending was rushed. The male narrator killed me every time he tried to emulate Blue's accent. He just... it was cringe worthy and took away from the story so much. As long as he wasn't doing that stupid accent his own Scottish one sounded fine.

Really I was just looking for good Mafia stories and was semi disappointed. The only reason this wasn't painful to read is I thought the author actually wrote well (despite the rushed ending) and kept the sex to a happy level. I probably would have enjoyed this a lot more without the male narrator though.
