My kind of "Sin"

Any additional comments?

Suspense and passion all wound together for Bleu and Sin. Bleu, a strong heroine, is on a mission to avenger her mothers death but finds herself in the middle of the "fellowship", Scottish mob. Will Sin's love for Bleu be enough to keep these two together... Can he keep her safe now.... Can't wait to listen to the next book to see where the story takes me now.

Narration - It was ok but i had a very hard time when Antony tried to be the voice of Bleu. Had me irritated at first but i got over since the story was a good one.

Male Narrator Doing Female Voice = Truly Painful

I liked the story but the audio book was partially ruined by the cringeworthy falsetto used by the male narrator for female dialogue. He did a great job on the male narration but his impression of a female was so annoying that I found it hard to stay engaged in the book when he was speaking as a female. Truly awful!

Female narrator did a nice job all the way around.

Character voices weren't good

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Anthony's Scottish accent is good when he is playing Sinclair's character, but is awful when performing Blue's part. I almost stopped listening to it just because of his female character voice. I would definitely not allow him to a female voice again. Blue did not have a heavy southern accent but did when he read the part, it was just awful!

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The performance of the character's was read on the slow slide and it was annoying. It didn't flow a at good pace.

Could you see A Necessary Sin being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

No

Eh...

This made me sad. I listened because the story idea was okay. Like other listeners have commented... the ending was rushed. The male narrator killed me every time he tried to emulate Blue's accent. He just... it was cringe worthy and took away from the story so much. As long as he wasn't doing that stupid accent his own Scottish one sounded fine.

Really I was just looking for good Mafia stories and was semi disappointed. The only reason this wasn't painful to read is I thought the author actually wrote well (despite the rushed ending) and kept the sex to a happy level. I probably would have enjoyed this a lot more without the male narrator though.

That accent

Mmmmmmm... that Scottish accent did more for me than the story and he story was phenomenal. I didn't think the reason bleu was there would be revealed so quickly but I am really excited about book 2.

A SIN So Good

Revenge, suspense and passion heat up this first book in the series about Sin and Bleu. Inot the world of the Scottish fellowship finding love was both dangerous and unlikely but the author makes this story come to life with possibilities. By the end, there's so much still up in the air. But it's okay because you'll be ready to listen to the next story right away.

My one complaint is with the narration, particularly when Antony voiced Bleu. I wouldnt suggest him as a narrator for female characters. It was distracting, if not a bit bothersome.
