Publisher's Summary

Penguin presents the audiobook edition of A Map of Days by Ransom Riggs, read by Kirby Heyborne.

Includes a bonus PDF of haunting vintage photographs that accompanies the story!

Having defeated the monstrous threat that nearly destroyed the peculiar world, Jacob Portman is back where his story began, in Florida. Except now Miss Peregrine, Emma and their peculiar friends are with him and doing their best to blend in. But carefree days of beach visits and normalling lessons are soon interrupted by a discovery - a subterranean bunker that belonged to Jacob's grandfather, Abe.

Clues to Abe's double life as a peculiar operative start to emerge, secrets long hidden in plain sight. And Jacob begins to learn about the dangerous legacy he has inherited - truths that were part of him long before he walked into Miss Peregrine's time loop.

Now, the stakes are higher than ever as Jacob and his friends are thrust into the untamed landscape of American peculiardom - a world with few ymbrynes, or rules - that none of them understand. New wonders and dangers await in this brilliant next chapter for Miss Peregrine's peculiar children. Their story is again fully illustrated by haunting vintage photographs, but with a striking addition for this all-new, multi-era American adventure - full colour.

Good addition to series

whilst book 3 and 4 haven't been as good as book 2, they have still been enjoyable, a big part thanks to the fantastic narration from Kirby. story and characters are interesting however I feel like the growth of some of the main children has stunted and leaves me frustrated at times with their decisions which go against what they should do/know based on previous encounters, namely Jacob and Emma.

overall pleased with the book though and look forward to the next chapter

Took a while to get traction

The story was pretty slow for the first half but then built momentum towards the end, finishing abruptly on a cliffhanger.

Great read! but...

Great read, but felt like it was lacking. Felt like this was just a filler to something in the works.

Not bad but disappointing

performance was good but the story was somewhat disappointing though still enjoyable. Preferred the original trilogy feels like the store was shoehorned into the series.

Loved it!

I fell in love with the very first book of this series and was hooked so much that I couldn't wait for the rest of the month to pass to get my credit. I had to buy some so that I could download the next book!

totally blown away!

so deeply anticipated and so richly enjoyed

I can't wait until the next one comes out but there is no way of making an author hurry up.

it is an utter joy to be reunited with the cast of the original trilogy. I had assumed that the third book rounded off the story but I was wonderfully mistaken. the tour de force of creative writing bringing new layers to the peculiar universe knocked my socks off.

first read the original trilogy then round it off with this wonderful story which whets my appetite for more.

Didn’t want to end!

Waited for ages for this book and it was well worth the wait! It was over too soon. Narration is great (wasn’t sure when I heard the first book but couldn’t imagine listening to it with any other voice now) Feeling book grief now..... :-( can’t wait until the next one!
