This is not R. D. Wingfield's book. The writing is flat, with few dialogues and none of Frost's flare. But the narrator is the worst. Each chapter has a few sections with action at different places and with different participants. The narrator ignores this fact and jumps from section to section with not even a shortest break to indicate the section change. You listen and suddenly the plot changes time and place in a blink of an eye. Absolutely irritating. Don't they have editors at Audible to check the product?
