Sophie Irwin is skilled author who knows how to weave a gripping tale of adversity with humour and care and love. I am completely smitten with her work.
Eleanore Tomlinson did a bang up job of bringing the characters to life, production obviously had a few mishaps though, but can be forgiven because the story and narrator were top notch. 😊🥰

It was so refreshing to read a book that had an unlikely heroine. The romance was believable in that it was naturally and gradually progressing. The story did not follow the predictable patterns of this genre. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who likes a clean romance with more of an emotional pull.

I devoured this book in a single day. I enjoy a good regency era romance and this book did not disappoint.
Kitty is fantastically manipulative, yet also frank and honest about her situation and intent.
The story is light, clean & engaging and the development of the connection between Kitty and Radcliffe felt natural. I loved the banter and repartee between the two.
Eleanor Tomlinson's narration was the reason I chose this book, but Sophie Irwin is an author I will be actively looking out for from now on.
