The story was enjoyable
Kat was a bit annoying at times going over and over her reasoning all the time. I loved that the narrators have a British accent, it's a nice change to other audiobooks

Loved the plot, the fae, the twists and turns but I am half way through and just want to throttle Kat! She is supposed to be a badass highway robber and incredibly self-sufficient BUT from the moment she arrives at court she is a naive, awkward, delicate flower that can not assess those around her… it’s so discouraging to see. Sure, you maybe traumatised but you have lived your life your own way then why or why are you not ready to kick some ass when the men around you try to abuse you? 🙄
