The male narrator is awful and completely ruined the listening experience. Female narrator was very good. The story itself felt like there were too many ideas in one book and ended feeling underwhelming.

Rushed conclusion to an otherwise interesting trilogy.

Liam Price is SO BAD as Bastian! Im sorry, but his excessive need to finish every sentence with the inflection and pitch of a newsreader/documentary host-AI hybrid drove me insane across the whole trilogy. I really wish the Bastian chapters were re-recorded or at least provided free in PDF so we can even get some Al text-to-speech program to listen with! No shade to Liam Price, personally at all, but someone did not do any quality control on the Bastian chapters and its gave a really poor overall quality to the productions.

great story, followed on well from previous books. Female narrator was exceptional, honestly would have been better if she did the whole thing without duet. Male narrator had me questioning if it was AI, like listening to a burnt out uni professor 😬

I enjoyed all three books overall. The male narrator gave me the ick. If the female hadn't been as good as she was, I probably would have abandoned the audiobooks and just read the rest.

loved this trilogy and Kats development, the relationship between her and bastion should have been amazing but Liam's narration spoilt the male perspective. I normally love when they have male female narration but I swear I cringed every time he spoke he made the spicy scenes cringy.
I would seriously recommend re recording with another male. I would listen again to get a better experience.

Like other reviews, I enjoyed the stories but the male narrator ruined it for me. He was the same one for all 3 books but book 3 he had a larger role. The cadence, and monotone never changed for the entire series and made it really hard work to get through. I wouldn’t purchase anymore audio books he narrated.

Love this series! The story line was very enjoyable bit Liam Price's narration makes it so hard to listen! His inflections are alllllllllll wrong. Every sentence is spoken with angst and you never know if hes actually finished a sentence

I absolutely loved the final part of this trilogy! Kats growth had me so excited every time she showed the middle finger to the patriarchy. I also enjoyed listening to the female narrator but I almost didn’t finish the audiobook because of the male narrator. I feel bad for saying it but it felt like he was reading a shopping list with every line. There were so many opportunities to emphasise the emotion the words were offering but the narrator just didn’t take the words to the next level. Was just a bit mundane and took away from the story. Otherwise great performance and book.

I really enjoyed the other two books despite the male narrator. I tried my best to get through the third but his voice was honestly such an annoyance. I feel horrible. I would strongly suggest re-recording his parts. Would definitely re-purchase should the male narrator be replaced.
