The level of banter and sarcasm makes this one of my fave Blakely couples.
The angst and tension is balanced well, without taking anything away for their storyline.

I really enjoyed this book. Highly recommend the audiobook that has a full cast of narrators.

This book was so good, it really hit the right note of fluff, spice, romance, and emotion.

Had me crying at one point, and then happy crying a chapter or two later.

The actors both did an AMAZING job (I mean, no surprises there... it's Joe-freaking-Arden and Shane-bloody-East!)

I could write about this audio book for ever and more ....
I read the book That Book! it is absolutely amazing I just couldn't get enough .. I re-read straight after because I could not "see" Dean and Fitz , I needed them in my life ...
Then the audio book and that was the end of me ...... Adoration for the narrators Shane East and Joe Arden they made my life so darn good and so enjoyable..
Laughed and swooned my way ,as listening to the book everything became so real ...
Did I love this audio-book ,,, hell yes !
I know I will listen each week and its an OMG audio-book ..

I do not normally read the M/M genre and now this book has me wondering why because I could not put this one down. It was a fantastic read from the very start. The characters had me hooked from the beginning and did not let go. This is a 100% must read.

The bonus stuff at the end of the Audiobook had me laughing out loud. I loved it truly.

Loved it! Absolutely loved it! Reading and listening to the audio performed by two amazing narrators , hearing the voices of the English and the Yankee heroes just added to the fantastic experience !
Loved the story, the chemistry, the epilogues and the full cast. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Congratulations, you’ve made it the review section! I hope you will bear with me while I translate some thoughts into words about this novel.

This is the 3rd Lauren Blakey novel I have listened to thus far. And I feel it has to be said - no other novel in my Audible journey has made me happy laugh, smile or evoke such happy feelings about a love story.

I was rooting for Dean and Fitz to get together from the first chapter. I was always engaged, listening rapturously for what came next. I couldn’t get enough of the story, and the ending is ADORABLE.

Also, I am fascinated and super excited at how I am recognising characters from Lauren’s other stories. I even coined my own word for it - the Blakely-verse!

Thank you Lauren for writing a story that showcases that love is love, and that you can find it when you least expect it.

OMFG YESSSSS!!! This was so wholesome! I was smiling from ear to ear, giggling, and tapping my feet the entire time. The smut was smutting, the banter was bantering, the author was authoring, and the performance was performing. Just loved the writing and the cast. Enjoyed the F out of it from start to end. The chemistry between Shane and Joe was just cherry on top of the MM cake. And I loved the bloopers and interview at the end had me cackling non stop.
