Publisher's Summary

We're living through a golden age of paleontological research that, in the last couple of decades, has radically changed our understanding of dinosaurs. Through candid interviews with the world’s top paleontologists, Professor Ben Garrod reveals new dinosaur facts from cutting edge research into the greatest animals ever to walk the planet.

When we're young, we all have a favourite dinosaur but, as time passes, other aspects of life get in the way. This is ultimate guide for grown-ups who have lost touch with their favourite childhood dinosaurs.

From the earliest cat-sized dinosaurs to enormous, feathered dinosaurs, there have been many significant discoveries in only the last 30 years. Every day we are learning more about the way the dinosaurs behaved and ultimately what happened to them at the very end.

Really enjoyed this. I love Dinosaurs, and this was informative, light and interesting to listen to.

I loved this

Very educational, easy to listen to. I especially liked that they asked most speakers what their favourite dinosaur was. This doesn't happen enough anymore.

My new favourite Dinosaur!

I have always loved Dinosaurs and picked up this book to refamiliarise myself with them. And boy did it! I loved the narration and the “grown up” tone of the book. If you’ve loved dinosaurs before you’ll love them even more after this read!
Ps. My favourite Dinosaur is the Paralophosaurus!

I am one of those young dinosaur enthusiasts who never grew out of it, so this was a real treat for me! Well researched and accessible, a really fascinating listen. I hope there will be more episodes to come!

Our Feathered Friends!

Having been a bit critical of some of these podcasts because they really didn't tell me much about subjects that I knew very little about this came as a really refreshing change. It has depth, a Dino version of Prof Brian Cox and most importantly some real depth without ever getting too nerdy.

Thoroughly recommended!

Loved this

Really interesting and accessible with a great presenter. His 'Chris Pratt' moment was superb! Was disappointed by his little lecture at the end about us killing the planet. Preaching to the choir... But we'll worth (several) listens.

This series was absolutely amazing! I binged the entire series it was so good. The narration was excellent, the information contained was eye opening, and the warning at the end was extremely poignant. Definitely worth a listen.

misophonia? give it a miss

too much extraneous noise and general stuff going on. you dont have to be opening and closing doors and talking to the public to tell me about dinosaurs.

Enlightening as science develops we know more?

It also seems as you listen science expands the understanding of the dinosaurs existence. Will in 50 years the story be different again, who knows. I do now know that they are not (Spolier - so better not say)
