Was expecting something a little better, but I will continue with the series to see if it picks up!! As ever, Kate Reading does an excellent narration!was expecting something a little better exclamation however, being narrated by Kate reading wasn't too bad

Started listening and could not stop. So annoyed at Amazon klutzy search engine. Thought I had downloaded Book 4 and found I got some American drug lord thing. 🤮

I like the overall concept of a small system based around 3 suns and bracketing the whole problem of faster than light travel. This seems like a gamer story with non stop traps, predicaments on the way to solve a larger problem of empire and rebellion where good becomes bad and bad becomes good.

I very much like the way the characters developed including the romances.

I really enjoyed this book collection. I loved the fact that I got to listen to the complete collection for only 1 credit.
The storyline was very exciting and could stop listening to the story.

An easy listen with a nice mix of action, humanity and touch of politics. The humour worked well, never feeling forced or over done. Kate Reading's narration is great and is well suited to Lindsay Buroker's writing style. This is an enjoyable adventure in space with likeable characters and I look forward to reading more books in the series.
