This book was a fun cozy mystery with heartfelt moments that had me crying.
Even though i was sad that our baddie was of human origin, i still like the ending of the book.
I honestly enjoyed the cryptid elements and how Morgan, our main character, and Detective Jon’s relationship development throughout the story.
Though I think personally that Newt, our brave doggy companion, really did steal the show. I love that little guy so much!
And finally I really truly love the audiobook for this one, I haven’t seemed to get invested in a audiobook for quite some time now, but Death In Door County really has seemed to rekindle my love of the talking books 📖 🎧
I will definitely be picking up the next book in this series very soon.
