great plot and the narrators did an excellent job.

Lots of emotions: I laughed and cried fell in love with Theo: he is the perfect blend of boyish cheekiness, damaged soul and fearless leader. I wish the book didn’t end so soon!
The performance was incredible! You can feel the emotions of the characters.
This is by far (next to Lights Out) one of my favorite audio reads this year

I absolutely adored the narrators and they did an excellent job...however, honestly the overall plot was a bit of a let down.
I was primed for a dextere style FMC, bad ass but was sadly disappointed by her..she was so 'typical' it was almost funny. the whole forced proximity set up was laughable and the speed at which she went from killer to sub was quick enough for whiplash.
I liked theo, but he was very green flag wearing a red cape, sure he did some stuff...but nothing outside of mc president behaviour - I was expecting unhinged.
I didn't mind the forced trauma storyline, but just, sadly felt it was predictable and forced in many places. the spice was spicy but at the same time quickly progressed into cringe and then ending felt rushed at how quickly it happened and was wrapped up.
the side characters were somewhat interesting, but if they are to become main characters in future books they could do with a deeper background as I'm not invested enough to want to know more about them.
ultimately - it's a fun ride into semi-dark territory but don't expect to be blown away. also side note-Jacob Morgan could read the phone book and I'd listen.
