I found this book really disappointing. The storyline was weak, and the narrator was just awful - reading in the same monotone all the way through. I will never listen to anything "read by her again"

I was really pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable this was because it was free as part of the Plus Catalogue which at times seems to get the less popular audiobooks but i really enjoyed this book.

It did take me a little to get into this book as i really don't like hearing abuse and family violence as she was experiencing abuse from her mum's partner but once that was no longer a problem and I'm trying very hard not to have any spoilers, i stayed to really enjoy the story a the main characters are all really likeable, the story is interesting, the love interests are there without it turning into an erotic novel with zero substance to the story.

it was also brought to life by a be l great narrator doing at the voices which i much prefer than separate male and female narrators as that generally pulls me out of the story whenever they switch.

I really recommend this book and I'm about to start the next. i hope it doesn't change focus as far as the relationships are concerned, i don't want to listen to an erotic novel.

Slow irritating start with an airhead for a FMC. I am all for suspending reality but this is just dumb, withholding information, lack of curiosity, whiney characters...I'm out.
