I loved the way the Author, drew us in right from the beginning she made the characters so realistic, that we became involved in their lives very quickly, I just could not stop listening, and became so addicted to their story, I purchased the 6 audio books, before I finished listening to book 1 and I think it was a fantastic setting for such a saga, in Island, and I feel it was a realistic portrayal of the hard times during the potato famine, I look forward to listening to more books from this Author .
