Complete waste of time

This podcast completely misrepresents the vegan v meat eater debate. Obviously there are ways of producing food that comes from plants or animals in ways that are more or less harmful to the environment. As she stated, we do not need to eat animals to be healthy. How can you justify taking the life of a sentient being out of absolutely no necessity? How can you then claim that killing an animal is ethical or moral?

Excellent food for thought!

In the past five years, I've been vegetarian, vegan(ish), and a meat-eater. At every junction, I've tried my best to process the complicated feelings I have about the way I—and the rest of the world—consume meat and dairy, and all the things that influence our choices. This podcast interrogates every one of these influences from culture, to sustainability, to health and nutrition, to animal cruelty in a thoughtful, practical, and judgement-free way. I appreciate the care and research that went into every episode and though I still haven't decided where I land within the meat-eating debate, this podcast has reminded me why it's such a personal and incredibly complex decision. Highly recommend!

I was expecting different

I was so excited to listen to this podcast hoping it would share some unbias science of the vegan debate, but it was a lot of people's opinions. the performance was fine, it dragged a bit sometimes, and often it would pause for that but too long where you check your phone to see if the app is even working still. Not my favourite, but I finished hoping it would give me some deeper insights, but really just kind of covered off all the opinions and things you'd know already if you were interested in this topic. Might be interesting for people who are new to the debate. Just for me, personally, I was wishing for a little more to chew on.

Loved This!!

Absolutely enjoyed this! It was so informative and it really gave a fair all round view of the issue. I liked that it explored all sides of the argument. I learnt alot and have started applying some of what I learnt from this, in my own life. I'd love to hear a second season expanding even further!

Essential listening.

An intelligent, thought-provoking and comprehensively researched podcast which prompts us to start a conversation about not only our food choices, but how food is produced. In an unbiased way, it reminds us that land stewardship is our collective responsibility and that all life forms have a role to play in order for our ecosystems to thrive. It is informative, challenging and objective - essential listening.

Omnivore is not Carnivore

So many issues with the way it was presented... it had vegan bias disguised as neutral, could have gone way more into the actual facts of Carnivore and done some personal research not just believe what the vegan people said.

It had so much potential but missed the target by a long way... Everything was based on the methane gas 'fact', but it's unsustainable farming that is the problem!

Vegetarian propaganda

This is a vegetarian propaganda podcast in disguise, sneakily, under the disguise of objectivity, trying to promote the idea that eating meat is bad for the planet. Nothing is further from truth.
Animals coevolved with humans and in agriculture they regenerate the soil. Cattle is carbon negative, if grass fed.
Regardless, meat is the most nutrient dense superfood there is and the one we evolved to eat.
Read Weston A. Price’s groundbreaking book, Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, to see how traditional humans ate and how healthy this food made them, and what happened if they started incorporating the food of modern commerce. Read Stefensson’s Not by Bread Alone ( The Fat of the Land) to see that a person can be healthy and well on meat and fat alone, moreover, cure from ailments that way. Please educate yourself and don’t give up to the vegetarian propaganda!

Educate yourself and grow

This podcast is a great way of educating yourself about the pros and cons of agriculture and the meat industry. It's presented in a simple, unbiased way that gives everyone (carnivores and vegans) a chance to present their way of living and eating. By doing so it allows you to choose your path and learn that not everything (including food) is black and white. Thank you, Rachel!
