Awesome plus 10
I can rave enough about this book and the series so far. The problem, however, is that it’s listed as two books in the series but ended on a cliffhanger. I’m chomping at the bit for book 3 and now have to find books of equal awesomeness to tide me over until it’s released

My new favourite series . Please keep the narrators.
When narrators sound good, they enhanse the storytelling and help listeners immerse themselves in the authors world. A good book can be spoiled if the narrator's voice is not appealing. These two were great! Their inflection and pace made me more engaged with the story.

Loved it…and now I need more
I had hoped this would see me through to whenever book 3 drops but it only makes me want it more! A blessing and a curse. Nonetheless it was so good to continue on from book 1’s audio. I personally love Corvin King’s voice (thanks to hearing it in Powerless) - To me it fits with my idea of how the male characters voice(s) might sound and in that sense it doesn’t alter the feel of the book. Sometimes poorly chosen narrators can be jarring and change my attachment to the book - thankfully Isla has great taste in narrators. Well done….I shouldn’t have consumed this so quickly though so now I wait haha.

action and personalities
the narrator's do a great job love their voices with these characters, I loved the authors writing. This series has been entertaining and different from most supernatural stories, I was giddy and excited but what I dislike is the last chapter. I prefer following the Macai then following the villian p.o.v because now i know what's happening and getting annoyed at the obvious plot and this series has kept me trying to figure it out with Macai.

Perfect Continuation
Absolutely love this book. The continuation of the story flows so well and the narration was perfect. Only suggestion is as the book is multi POV having the characters whose chapter announced at the beginning like the first book would be extremely helpful as it is a little confusing without it. If it had it would have been 5 stars across the board.

2nd book of the blackened blade series
Answered some questions from book 1 but left with more. Cannot wait for the 3rd book is to be released. It does leave on 2 cliff hangers, 1, for Micai and her boys and then 2, the sister... Has become a favourite book. Well written and looking forward to seeing where the story and journey continues. And Gadreil will he realise his destiny?
