Publisher's Summary

Clay Landon has never taken himself or his life of privilege seriously. He has spent his life going where he wanted, when he wanted, and keeping his relationships as casual and open as his lifestyle. It's a pretty damn good life until he meets Lexi Chambers, an equally free spirit who is completely unimpressed by him or his wealth.

Lexi Chambers knows how to get into trouble and does so with a skill acquired by doing it a lot. Her sister, Willa, recently married into the wealthy Barrington family and Lexi is trying to stay on her best behavior.

One too-sexy-for-his-own-good, Clay, will test her resolve.

He'll make her laugh and push her to, once again, believe in possibilities.

I so love Ruth Cardello and her colleagues work!

1: Billionaire for Lexi by Ruth Cardello
The characters of the Barrington family appear, large as life, but this novelette centres on two side characters, Lexi, twin to Willa, and Clay Layton, the rich billionaire, that has been semi adopted by the family due to his friendship with...
However, Cupid looks like his arrow has hit Clay directly in the heart. Now he has to convince Lexi that he is interested in more than a one night stand.

2: Just in Thyme by Jeannette Winters
Again the Barrington family are involved, although this is another couple on the peripheral, Vincent Moretti, guest to the snowed in Charity raiser and renowned chef and restaurant owner, seems to have meet his match in the sassy Renita Gallo. There is a lot going on in the kitchen, which heats up, regardless of the blizzard conditions outside.

3: Midnight on the Slopes by Danielle Stewart
Nolan didn't want to attend the fund raiser, but between the coaching of his sister, Libby and Holly, the young quirky girl, who had volunteered to help out, even though Holly and Nolan had never meet before their encounter in the cafe, where she had overheard his conversation with his sister.
Unfortunately, fate catches up with Holly, but Nolan isn't ready to give up on the friendship just yet. It's a new year, with new beginnings, after all!

Short and Cute

I love Ruth Cardello's stories because family is the backbone that brings it all together. Clay and Lexi have been extended members of the Barrington Family and they've popped up in other books so it was nice to get their story. While it seems they may have had a flirtation going over the years it was nothing more than that. Clay flirted a little more than normal at Thanksgiving dinner and without even going on a date, they have love and happily ever after. This one was really quick and that's only a problem because there was absolutely no relationship buildup.

The narration was not very good. The female voices were especially annoying and seemed over the top.

Had I not listened to the end I might have returned it.

so disappointing

Could not finish this book due to the minnie mouse voice given to the main character. Feel like I abandoned this book before but since I couldn't force myself past chapter five, I can't be sure. Wish my eyesite permitted me to read this. ....probably would have loved it.

1 out of 3 not bad

Second and third novellas showcase characters with the lowest morals...jumping into bed after just meeting...like that's even safe! Plotlines hadn't even a whiff of plausibility. I know this is fiction, but come on....readers have braid that don't shut down when reading!

The magic of Spring with the heat of Summer.

What did you love best about A Billionaire for Lexi?

There is a theme with all of the stories in the novella. The romance takes center stage but the love of family serves as a backdrop.

What did you like best about this story?

One of the reasons why I enjoy reading is that when feeling all encompassing love that I get makes me feel good and keeps me coming back for more. A Billionaire for Lexi captivates with it's stories so deeply it casts a spell that's hard to break free of.

Which scene was your favorite?

I had been rooting for Lexi from the time that she was introduced on the canvas in Trade It All. So wanted her to find her chance at happiness. So when her and Clay gave into their hearts, I was ecstatic.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

If I touched perfection, it would not compare to the A Billionaire for Lexi. It captures every emotion that love in tails and bottles it up in a small package.

Any additional comments?

Not many authors can blend family, love and life into a bubble of tempting, feel good storytelling. Danielle Stewart, Ruth Cardello and Jeannette Winters have that special spark that makes these stories a treasure find.
