Starting to feel like a Stephanie Plum rip off

First few books were great, now it’s starting to be too much like Stephanie Plum. More than one man she is sleeping with (one assumes they are in a relationship), her car is blowing up/vehicles are being damaged, best friend who is there but not.....too many coincidences 🤷🏻‍♀️
