the narrator was very enjoyable to listen to, I did love the story 90% but it was the... big reveal.... I wasn't a fan, it didn't fully fit for me. but I do still highly recommend this book!

I am a JR fan so I started listening to this story with an expectation that I would like it. I was blown away with this storyline, it is nothing like he has written before, it was gruesome, shocking and totally unpredictable. This is a stand alone novel so you can jump right in and start listening. I highly recommend this story to both new and old readers of JR books.

Any story by this author tends to have a certain amount of WTF did I just listen to?! This story is no different, with even a little bit more WTF than some of the others.

Without giving anything away, I loved it. Highly recommend having a listen or a read as it is a brilliant entertaining story, with some light emotional and mental scarring! Very creative concepts, and well written.

Performance was brilliant, although it did take me a chapter to get past thinking of the narrator as the great man. Once I got beyond that (and the story was so different it wasn’t too hard), all was well. Great performance which exceeded expectations, and worked well with the story.
