When their parents are called by the Smithsonian Museum to photograph a recently discovered tomb in Egypt, it comes at the worst possible time - right in the middle of Lorelei's first prom. To distract her distraught sister, Julia arranges for a personal tour, and that's when all the trouble begins. Lorelei is convinced the handsome Egyptian god on the tomb wall is a real living god, and soon she disappears. Julia's life is uprooted as she copes with her sister being missing in a strange country and is sent to live in Moonlight Cove, where she discovers everything Lorelei believed in was true.
