في مقالات أخرى يتكلّم حلمي باستفاضة عن نشأته وخبرته التي اكتسبها أثناء عمله وسفره وكيف كان أفضل ما تعلمه هو تقديره لأهله وقيمتهم في حياته..

ربما تبدو بعض المقالات وكإنّها مثالية أو تنظيرية لكنَّ أسلوب حلمي الساخر وعفويته الطاغية على كتابته جعلتها سلسلة وذات وقع مختلف على النفس.
