Not as thrilling

As always, great to catch up with our four heroes. Your book left me wanting though, not as thrilling as others. Found myself feeling like I'd missed something by the end.

why publish rubbish

This is badly written rubbish. why this type of writing is promoted as good writing is beyond me.

I did it again!

I promised myself I would not read or listen to anymore “Patterson” books just because I’ve read all the previous ones. Then I bought this. Pure fluff. I actually felt sorry for the narrator and I’m a fan of hers generally. It started strangely and I should have given up then! I can only describe it as a summary of the relationships and how wonderful they all are! But it seemed like it was going to go on to be an introduction to a tv or magazine interview within the story! It was literally a précis to start the book! It’s book 20! We know! And the number of conversations about meals! Obviously, this is just me, but these books are no longer thrillers and there’s nothing wrong with that, except when it is purported to be one, if you enjoy chick lit you may enjoy this. This is my last ever “Patterson”.

20th Victim.

I love James Patterson. Read or listened to everything he has written. January LaVoy is very good at narrating. Does the different voices well.

Really didn't enjoy this

I really didn't enjoy this - I found it weird that the narrator did voices for all of the different characters because it made it feel forced (and all the male characters sounded really sleezy). I think it would have been better if the narrator just read the story in their normal voice. I really had to push through to finish it because I had paid for it.

Great Book

I just love The Womens Murder Club series. I love Lyndsey Boxer & all of the usual friends. This was a great story, I also love January Lavoy's voice, she puts such passion into her work. Can't wait for 21!
