Publisher's Summary

In this world you will have trouble. Count on it!

It might be something small or something big, but you know you don't have an answer. You've come to a realization: There is a limit to what you can do alone. For such times as these, 2 Chairs asks three vital questions:

  • Does God know your situation?
  • Is it too hard for him to handle?
  • Does he have a good plan for you?

Following these questions, Bob Beaudine offers several practical steps to help you walk courageously, faithfully, and cheerfully through your trouble, whether it is a minor issue or a major crisis.

OUTSTANDING!... Inspirational!... Confirmation!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I started reading the hard copy I obtained from the Temple,TX Veterans' hospital. I joined Amazon....then Audibles....and got the audio book free of charge. The author is the narrator. I recommend this book to everyone.

Have a little talk with Jesus!

Very practical and poignant. This book has me pondering the question of how close my relationship is with God. Is it close to call death in my life like calling the eight ball in the corner pocket for a master pool player?

Great idea, poorly executed

The idea of two chairs is a good and I believe a biblical concept, however, the author did little to nothing to attach this concept to biblical principals. This also made the book seem to be like an "additional bible" that we must have in order to know how to have a relationship with Christ. I am sure this was not the intent of the author, and it sounds like his mom had a wonderful relationship with Christ. However, the book focuses on two chairs without connecting it definitely and concisely to the Bible. This makes it easy to introduce much thinking that is our own, and not God's. When tied directly to biblical principals, we can know it is not our own way of thinking, but rather, His. This is not to say that most of the ideas and the main point (two chairs) couldn't have been tied to the bible, but the fact that they weren't makes this book much less credible. The book needs to cut out many stories and focus on biblical principals, or it would be wise if it were much longer, including biblical principals relating to the book. I have heard many preachers teach messages that are clearly their own thinking, and then they try hard to find bible verses that support their way of thinking. It doesn't work. Again, I believe much of this book could be biblically based, but it's no different than those messages if the book is not showing people what God does say on the matter.
Also, it may have been best to have someone else read the book. Many inflections were too much and too constant. It made it very hard to listen to and I wouldn't have done so if I hadn't already purchased the audible book. Sorry for focusing on more of the behave in this comment. I think this book could certainly be helpful to many and has been.
