About this listen
18 MINUTES takes this challenge and turns it on its head. Peter Bregman, top HARVARD BUSINESS REVIEW columnist and global management consultant, shatters the myth of getting it all done by offering a clear and simple plan for getting the right things done.
He shows how the best way to fight distracting interruptions is to create productive ones ourselves, a practice that can be easily implemented in 18 minutes a day. The result is a simple yet comprehensive approach to managing your life a year, a day, and a moment at a time so that your life moves forward the way you want and at the pace you want.

Critic Reviews
Pick this book up and read it. Bregman's wisdom, humility, and ability to tell a great story run through every page of this gem. 18 MINUTES is the best blend of a business book and a self-help book I have ever read (Robert Sutton, author of Good Boss, Bad Boss)
Everybody is busy. With work, social commitments and family life, it's sometimes hard to see how you'll get everything done. But Peter Bregman claims to have the solution in time management. Rather than trying to get everything done, he advises you say no to distractions and get the important stuff done. A fascinating read with gems of advice
The book provides a valuable, practical guide to time and life management
18 MINUTES is an intensely smart, insanely readable, and eminently practical guide to boosting our effectiveness and deepening our satisfaction. I've already benefited from the ideas in is book in my own work. So will you (Daniel Pink, author of Drive and A Whole New Mind)
Feeling in control of your time is a key element of happiness. In the thoughtful, practical, and often funny 18 MINUTES, Peter Bregman explains how to make sure we have plenty of time to do the things that matter most to us - so that our lives reflect our true values and priorities (Gretchen Rubin, bestselling author of The Happiness Project)
I listened to this book a second time after the first for a more in-depth learning experience. Love the relevant life stories that Peter provided and articulated his interpretations into lessons that others can take onboard.
I'd say the biggest thing that I took out of this book was the "find my location" technique where I stop every 30min (or so) and assess what I've achieved and judge whether I am still on the right track towards my goal.
Love your work Peter!
Enjoyed this so much I listened twice!
