Publisher's Summary

Detective Lindsay Boxer has everything she could possibly want. Her marriage and baby daughter are perfect, and life in Homicide in the San Francisco Police Department is going well. But all that could change in an instant.

Lindsay is called to a crime scene at the Four Seasons Hotel. There is a dead man in one of the rooms, shot at close range. The man checked in under a false name with no ID on him, so the first puzzle will be finding out who he is.

In the room next door are a dead young man and woman, also shot. They are surrounded by high-tech surveillance equipment. Could they have been spying on the man now dead in the room next to them?

And in the utilities cupboard down the hall is the dead body of a house maid. The murders are all clearly linked and professionally executed. But what is the motive behind it all? Lindsay will need to risk everything she has to find out.

Just awful narrating

So very disappointed. I love james Patterson and have read up to this book so thought I’d get the next one on audible. I have listened to many audible books however the narrating on this one absolutely terrible - I don’t want someone to put on different voices when they are narrating or try to act - just awful - can’t listen to it at all - so disappointing

Good but not the best

Expected this to be better but it didn't have me hooked like previous books I've read. This was my first James Patterson book. I personally didn't like the music throughout.

A good women's murder club book

I think James Patterson should think about making his leading female character less whiny. She is a cop after all. Otherwise a good installment.

Mega Dissapointed

What did you like best about 15th Affair? What did you like least?

I really did not feel that the problems with Lindsey and Joes relationship where in charachter with the previous books

What was most disappointing about James Patterson’s story?

It seemed rushed and not typical to the rest of the series .
Also the story is based around Lindsay and Joe and the other club members are only briefly named

Have you listened to any of January LaVoy’s other performances? How does this one compare?

January's performance was brilliant as always , probably the only thing that made this audiobook beareable

Any additional comments?

I was really disapointed in book 15, I normally love this series . I didn't really find the plot that interesting, and very out of character to normal.
If you love this series I would actually recomend giving this one a miss .

Disappointing

Not as good as I expected, I found the storyline a bit dull, kept listening hoping it would pick up momentum

Great Characters, Good Plot, Poorly Written

The Women's Murder Club got me hooked. Books 1-3 cemented a solid base for strong characters, and great storylines continued to keep me reading. Unfortunately the author didn't keep that winning formula through the rest of the series; somewhere along the line, strong women, and a strong plot, got padded out in fluffy, chick-flick packaging.

Great from start to finish

Loved this book. The first woman's murder club book I have listened too and really enjoyed it. Sound effects of gunfire and music were a surprise., but added to the suspense of the story.

easy listening

As usual another easy listen and will be popular with fans of the series but far less gripping than many of the others. Narrator was good, sound effects a little wierd but not too disracting.

Good, easy read

Standard James Patterson fare. No surprises here. Easy reading that doesn't require much effort or input from the reader/listener.
