أَنِيرِي مَكَانَ البَدْرِ إِنْ أَفَلَ البَدْرُ وَقُومِي مَقَامَ الشَّمْسِ مَا اسْتَأْخَرَ الفَجْرُ فَفِيكِ مِنَ الشَّمْسِ المُنِيرَةِ ضَوْؤُهَا وَلَيْسَ لَهَا مِنْكِ التَّبَسُّمُ وَالثَّغْرُ بَلَى لَكِ نُورُ الشَّمْسِ وَالبَدْرُ كُلُّهُ وَلَا حَمَلَتْ عَيْنَيْكِ شَمْسٌ وَلَا بَدْرُ لَكِ الشَّرْقَةُ اللَّأْلَاءُ وَالبَدْرُ طَالِعٌ وَلَيْسَ لَهَا مِنْكِ التَّرَائِبُ وَالنَّحْرُ وَمِنْ أَيْنَ للشَّمْسِ المُنِيرَةِ بِالضُّحَى بِمَكْحُولَةِ العَيْنَيْنِ فِي طَرْفِهَا فَتْرُ وَأَنَّى لَهَا مِنْ دَلِّ لَيْلَى إِذَا انْثَنَتْ بِعَيْنَيْ مَهَاةِ الرَّمْلِ قَدْ مَسَّهَا الذُّعْرُ
