Isabella Dorta is a five time best selling author, most known for her debut collection ‘how sunflowers bloom under moonlight’ and is proudly published by Penguin RandomHouse’s non-fiction division, Ebury.
Known for reading her poetry aloud on social media, Isabella refers to herself not as a poet, but as a young woman who just feels things ‘a little too ferociously’. Her work covers topics such as feminism, love, heartbreak, grief and mental health- or as she says: ‘all of the sh*t you’re too afraid to talk about!’
As well as completing three sold out UK/EU tours, with a fourth and fifth beginning early 2026, she has also performed/held panels at Henley Lit Fest and Cheltenham Lit Fest.
Isabella posted her first poem online in May 2021 and has since built a loving community of over 2 million followers, who have given her the platform to continue writing/performing her poetry.
