Tara Lynn Masih is winner of the Julia Ward Howe Award for Young Readers and a National Jewish Book Award Finalist. Her adult historical debut, THE SILENT WOMEN, highlighting the role of women at Oak Ridge, TN, during WWII, is forthcoming from Storm Publishing. Tara grew up in the small harbor town of Northport, situated along the Long Island Sound. Because much of her time was spent on the beaches and in the woods, her writing is often set within the framework of nature and place. MY REAL NAME IS HANNA, her first novel, won multiple awards and was translated into Slovak and Polish and will soon be published in Romania. She is editor of the acclaimed ROSE METAL PRESS FIELD GUIDE TO WRITING FLASH FICTION. Founding series editor of the annual BEST SMALL FICTIONS, her second story collection, HOW WE DISAPPEAR, received a Florida Book Award.
