Talya Tate Boerner is the author of four novels—The Accidental Salvation of Gracie Lee, Gene Everywhere, Bernice Runs Away, and The Third Act of Theo Gruene. A former commercial lender turned writer, she draws inspiration from nature, nostalgia, and her Arkansas roots. Talya is an Arkansas Master Naturalist, Master Gardener, and certified phenologist, living in Fayetteville with her husband and two miniature schnauzers. When she isn’t writing, she’s tending her pollinator garden, tracking phenology in her backyard, or sharing stories on her blog, Grace Grits and Gardening. She tries to do something creative every day.
