After receiving her BA Degree, Swiyyah, was hospitalized 6 times and diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. As a child she was raised in poverty with a single parent, molested by her brother, abused by her step dad, and lost her brother to suicide. She later published two fictional books inspired by her true story entitled, "Don't Call Me Crazy!" Her first book became required and suggested reading at an accredited 4-year University in Writing, Reading, Abnormal and General Psychology. After being told by professionals she would never find a job, she was awarded thousands from a rehabilitation service to start her production and speaking business. She has also been awarded as a Baynews9 Everyday Hero, seen by two million viewers, for teaching her community, mental health awareness. Raised Muslim, she gave her life to Christ after several Godly revelations and after meeting her husband, Pastor Dederick Woodard.
