Susan L. Combs is an entrepreneur, speaker, nonprofit founder, and bestselling author whose work is dedicated to leadership, service, and creating pathways that improve the lives of others. At 26, she founded Combs & Company, an award-winning insurance brokerage that has grown into a nationally recognized firm. She later made history as the youngest National President of Women in Insurance & Financial Services, where she championed the advancement of women in business and leadership. Inspired by a simple request from her late father, Major General Roger E. Combs, Susan founded Pancakes for Roger, a nonprofit organization that honors his legacy by supporting Veterans and strengthening communities. What began as a tribute has grown into a national movement that has raised thousands of dollars for Veteran causes, including the University of Missouri School of Law Veterans Clinic, where Susan serves on the Advisory Board. Susan is the bestselling author of Pancakes for Roger: A Mentorship Guide for Slaying Dragons and Wonder Women: The Untold Stories of Female Veterans. Through her writing, she shares stories of resilience, purpose, and leadership, believing that some of life's greatest lessons come from ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things. She lives in New Hampshire with her husband, Sean, where she continues to lead her business, grow Pancakes for Roger, and advocate for Veterans, women, and the communities they serve.
