A resident of Málaga, Spain, author Sara Ventas studied to be a profesional photographer before she began writing fiction. Her blog, "Sueños a contraluz" (Back-lit Dreams), chronicled her beginnings as a writer. "Thirty Postcards Away", which was originally self-published in Spanish, is her first novel.
