Born into an artistic family where the scents of clay and turpentine filled her earliest memories, Roshelle K. LeVa's path to becoming a healer began in childhood. Her journey from barefoot freedom to military discipline as a US Army Preventive Medicine Technician took her across continents, where she collected healing wisdom like precious souvenirs—from Moroccan shepherds who fearlessly caught scorpions with their bare hands to Hawaiian elders who shared the sacred practice of Ho'oponopono.
When she walked into David Kukkola's wellness center with a gift certificate from coworkers who noticed her undiagnosed depression, Roshelle had no idea that moment would change her life forever. The shiatsu session that "made stress fall off like an old, loose coat" sparked a lifelong passion for healing that would later flourish into her pioneering Healing Life Coaching method.
As a fourth-generation Reiki Master (directly linked to founder Mikao Usui), licensed acupuncturist, and creator of integrated healing approaches, Roshelle made history by establishing the first acupuncture clinic within Kaiser Permanente's chronic pain department. Her American Institute of Natural Healings became a magnet for luminaries like Marianne Williamson and Living Buddha Dechan Jueren, who recognized the revolutionary potential in her blended healing techniques.
Life tested Roshelle's methods personally through her five children's births—including one dramatic delivery during a biblical thunderstorm—and through devastating losses: the economic crash of 2008 that claimed her school and home, the sudden deaths of beloved mentors, and the forced closure of her Northgate Center for Wellness during COVID-19. Each setback became a laboratory for developing new healing approaches.
The pandemic that confined her to a cramped Airbnb across the country from her California practice unexpectedly revealed her most powerful healing tool yet—the ability to take a patient's pain "from an intense nine down to a complete zero" through remote video sessions. This discovery became the cornerstone of the method she shares in "Healing Life Coaching: A Journey to Wellness."
Roshelle's connection to Hawaiian culture runs deep, inspiring her to author and illustrate four children's books that bring Hawaiian myths and traditions to life for young readers. These colorful stories, born from childhood summers spent learning hula, swimming in gentle ocean waves, and absorbing island wisdom from her "Tutu" (grandmother in Hawaiian), share the spiritual essence of Hawaii that continues to influence her healing practice today.
When not guiding others to their own healing breakthroughs, Roshelle channels visions into spiritual paintings infused with vibrant colors that speak directly to her clients' subconscious. She lives with her husband Michael, whose unwavering support she describes as "the wind beneath my wings," and continues to prove that healing isn't about techniques—it's about awakening each person's innate wisdom through authentic connection.
